Founded by a colon cancer survivor. Intentional, non-medical, private-pay home care for cancer patients, survivors, and those rebuilding after serious illness, and for anyone who deserves exceptional care.
"I know what it feels like to sit in that chair. I built this so no one has to do it without someone truly present."
Our founder is a stage 2 colon cancer survivor who built this agency because she lived through what every client of ours is facing. She sat in the infusion chair. She attended iron infusions. She knows the fear, the exhaustion, and the profound need for someone who genuinely shows up.
When you call Covered Home Care, you speak with our founder directly. Not a call center. The person who built this agency from personal experience and who takes personal responsibility for your care.
Three levels of care, each one private pay and deeply personal — built around your treatment, your recovery, and the way you want to live through it. Complete the intake questionnaire for a personalized estimate.
When you contact us, you speak directly with the person who built this agency. Personal accountability from the first conversation.
Every caregiver completes specialized cancer care training covering fatigue, emotional support, infusion accompaniment, and treatment side effects.
Act 34, Act 151, and FBI fingerprint clearances for every caregiver before their first shift. No exceptions. No provisional starts.
Scheduled visits within defined hours, while still offering exceptional, personal, and genuinely caring support.
We answer to you, not an insurance company. Your care is designed around your needs, not a reimbursement schedule.
PA Department of Health licensed under 28 PA Code Chapter 611. HIPAA compliant. Insured. Your family is protected at every level.
Begin your intake or request a consultation. Every inquiry is handled personally by our founder.
The founder of Covered Home Care is a stage 2 colon cancer survivor who built this agency because she lived through exactly what every client of ours is facing. She has personally sat in chemotherapy chairs, attended iron infusions, and navigated the fear and vulnerability that comes with a serious diagnosis.
She was the first in her family to experience cancer. She had the full love and support of her family around her, but they had no way to truly understand what she was experiencing. Not physically. Not mentally. Not emotionally.
That experience shapes how caregivers are trained, how clients are treated, and why every intake call is handled personally by the founder herself. This agency was not built from a business plan. It was built from a lived experience that no competitor can replicate.
We are small by design. Every client relationship is personal. Every caregiver placement is deliberate.
Showing up is not enough. We train caregivers to be truly present with specific understanding that comes from lived experience.
From how a caregiver knocks on a door to how an invoice is sent, every detail reflects respect for the people we serve.
We tell families exactly what we do and what we do not do. No surprises. No hidden scope. Complete honesty from the first conversation.
Licensed, insured, trained, and background checked. Professional standards are not optional, they are the baseline from which we build.
Our heart is with cancer patients and survivors. Our doors are open to anyone who needs compassionate, professional home care.
Beyond Caregiving
Covered Home Care was founded from lived experience, and our commitment extends beyond caregiving.
Each year, we proudly support fundraising efforts benefiting the Colorectal Cancer Alliance to help raise awareness and expand access to potentially life-saving colorectal cancer screenings.
We believe care means more than showing up inside the home. It also means helping protect the health of our community through advocacy, awareness, and early detection.
Best for: Families who need a specific number of hours per day or a consistent weekly schedule.
All tiers are a minimum of 4 hours per day and 12 hours per week.
Daily companionship, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
All essential services plus advanced recovery needs (symptom monitoring and discharge follow-through).
High-level advocacy including treatment-day logistics, observational notes, and clinical appointment accompaniment.
Best for: Patients who need a trusted presence during chemotherapy, infusion, or physician visits.
Thoughtfully designed for treatment days and recovery, our Signature Experiences provide comfort, continuity, and peace of mind when families need it most.
Whether accompanying a loved one to chemotherapy, supporting recovery after surgery, or simply allowing a caregiver time to rest, each experience is designed with compassion, dignity, and thoughtful attention to the details that matter most.
Because healing is about more than medicine.
A note on treatment timing: Packages include a reasonable accommodation for treatment timing. If chemotherapy or infusion runs late, your caregiver stays with you — at no additional charge — for up to 90 minutes beyond the scheduled window, so you’re never left waiting alone.
Covered Home Care is a private pay agency and does not bill Medicare or Medicaid. We are happy to assist families in submitting documentation to long-term care insurance providers on your behalf. Contact us to discuss your coverage options.
Transportation mileage: When a caregiver provides transportation to a medical appointment as part of a Concierge Care shift, mileage is billed to the client as a separate line item on your invoice at the current IRS standard mileage rate of $0.70 per mile. Mileage is documented with odometer readings before and after every trip.
After you submit, our founder will review your responses and reach out within 24 hours with a personalized care and pricing proposal.

For added convenience, clients are required to maintain a valid credit card, debit card, or ACH payment method on file. Weekly invoices may be paid automatically through our secure payment platform.
Signature Experiences, including Treatment Companion, Homecoming Recovery, and Family Relief, are payable in full at the time of scheduling.
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and ACH bank transfers.
